Dr. Viet-Hung Nguyen
Postdoc researcher at IMCN (UCLouvain)
Dr. Viet-Hung Nguyen is currently a postdoc researcher at IMCN (UCLouvain). He received his B.Sc. in Physics from the Hanoi National University of Education, VietNam in 2002 and his M.Sc. degree in Physics from the Institute of Physics, VAST, VietNam in 2007. Then, he went to the University of Paris Sud, France, where he earned his Ph.D. in 2010. His PhD studies focused on developing quantum transport calculations to explore the electronic and transport properties of graphene nanostructures and devices. After a one-year postdoc in 2011 in Paris Sud, he moved to INAC (Institut Nanosciences et Cryogénie) of CEA in Grenoble, France, for a two-year postdoc project on silicon nanodevices. He came back to Paris Sud in 2014, where he continued his research on 2D materials before joining UCLouvain in 2015. His current research focuses on multiscale modelling approaches for investigating the electronic properties and related features in 2D materials and their nanostructures.
