Research Director at SPEC in CEA Saclay (France). After physics studies at Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris (France), he obtained his Master’s degree in Quantum Physics from Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris in 2005 with honors. He received his PhD degree from Université Paris VI in 2008.  After 3 years of Post Doc at ETH Zurich (Switzerland) in the Ensslin’s group, Preden Roulleau joined CEA Saclay in 2011 as a permanent researcher and is now the head of the Nanolectronics group at SPEC/CEA Saclay since 2019 (around 20 people including 8 permanent members). In 2016 he was awarded an ERC starting grant to develop “Electron Quantum Optics” in graphene. Preden Roulleau is author of 50 peer review publications including 2 Science, 2 Nature, 1 Nature Physics, 7 Nat. Comm., 7 PRL, for a total of 3000 citations, and index  h=25.
