B. Hackens is group leader at UCLouvain since 2010. His group activities focus on low temperature transport measurements on nanodevices, in the coherent regime of transport. He has been working on the development of scanning gate microscopy, to “image” charge transport, mainly in 2D crystal-based devices, down to ultralow temperature, and high magnetic fields.
